Job description

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and scaling our sales organization while driving sustained revenue growth. This full‑time leadership position will oversee a team of Sales Executives and will be accountable for developing and executing the company’s strategy across multiple markets. You will lead all sales efforts, including team performance, pipeline management, forecasting and major deal execution, while also contributing directly to high‑value opportunities and strategic client relationships.

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for building a high‑performing team, establishing best practices, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, technical sales experience, and the ability to align sales initiatives with the overall business objectives of Triton Concepts.

Primary Functions
  • Lead and manage the sales team in developing building automation and energy management solutions
  • Drive overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion across key verticals
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate Sales Executives to ensure high performance
  • Establish and manage sales KPIs, quotas, and forecasting processes
  • Serve as the senior sales lead for large, complex, and strategic opportunities
  • Oversee pipeline development, funnel management, and closing strategy across all deals
  • Work directly with owners, developers, and partners to create and develop new business opportunities
  • Review bid documents and proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution and customer acceptance
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, subcontractors, and trade partners
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and systems to increase sales efficiency and win rates
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferred
  • Previous experience in a sales leadership or management role within building automation, energy, or related industries
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in a technical sales environment, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling a high‑performing sales team
  • Strong understanding of the following:
    • Product lines: Schneider Electric, Tridium and/or Siemens BAS
    • Integration to 3rd party systems via BACnet, Modbus or OPC
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Microsoft Visio)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations
