The Operational Risk Analyst position will be responsible for supporting the development and operation of PSECU's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program as directed by the Director of Risk. Responsibilities include ORM development, risk assessment; managing ORM processes; identifying and developing enterprise-wide risk analytics and reports; implementing ORM-related policies and procedures and facilitating the implementation and integration of risk management principles at all levels of the company. Supports the business units in re-assessing their risks, and reviews / updates business unit risk / control self-assessments and documentation required for ORM. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 40% or as needed.

In this position, you will

  • Monitor and analyze emerging risks facing PSECU. Analyzes the potential impact and likelihood of risks on PSECU's competitive position, profitability and/or operational effectiveness. Provide recommendations to proactively manage emerging risks.
  • Facilitate risk management reviews by meeting with business units, reviewing operations, and making recommendations for compliance with best practices and/or state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the credit union.
  • Lead and/or participate in reviewing risk management processes for large projects/special projects designed to manage/reduce PSECU risk levels.
  • Lead ERM processes and systems for file maintenance quality assurance, insurance reviews, and Corporate insurance renewals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors (Required)Any equivalent combination of experience and education.| Required Four to Six years' experience in risk management and/or an auditing, accounting or a related field.| Required Risk management-related certifications preferred.| Not RequiredCertified Enterprise Risk Professional - CERP, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) - Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Credit Union Enterprise Risk Professional - CUERP
