You will lead a team that supports Netflix's corporate, production, and emerging businesses and oversees endtoend risk and claims activities, while partnering closely with crossfunctional leaders around the world.

The successful candidate will be a strategic risk executive and thought leader with a proven track record of building and leading highperforming teams and managing a diverse portfolio of global risks. This is a highly visible, handson leadership role that combines longterm strategic thinking with daytoday operational excellence to support Netflix's continued growth and innovation. Strategic Leadership & Risk Philosophy Own and continuously refine Netflix's overall risk philosophy and framework in alignment with our culture of innovation, speed, and responsible risktaking.

Manage the company's Total Cost of Risk, optimizing the balance between risk transfer, retention, and operational controls to support growth and profitability. Serve as a senior advisor to executive and functional leaders on risk implications of strategic decisions, new initiatives, and market expansion. Enterprise Risk & Claims Management Lead endtoend Risk and Claims Management across Netflix's corporate, production, advertising, gaming, LIVE, and consumer experience businesses.

Oversee a highperforming global team responsible for program design, placement, pricing, coverage terms, and claims resolution across a broad range of insurance lines, including Auto & General Liability, Aviation, Business Interruption, Errors & Omissions, Fiduciary, Property, Workers' Compensation, and others. Direct claims strategies and outcomes, including management of TPAs, major and complex claims, and an effective returntowork program. Program Design, Innovation & Alternative Risk Financing Develop and evolve insurance products and risk management solutions that balance Netflix's risk philosophy with business and operational needs, including new and emerging business models.

Drive the evaluation and implementation of alternative risk financing solutions (e.g., captives, selfinsured structures) to enable costeffective selffunding of risk. Challenge the status quo and explore innovative ways to structure risk, coverage, and data to support Netflix's unique content and product portfolio. External Partnerships & Market Engagement Oversee strategic relationships with external partners, including actuaries, brokers, carriers, and TPAs, ensuring bestinclass service, innovative solutions, and competitive pricing

Represent Netflix's interests in market negotiations and industry forums, leveraging market intelligence to anticipate trends and proactively adjust strategies. Data, Technology & Performance Management Develop and own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks that measure and drive the performance of Risk and Claims Management activities. Leverage existing and emerging technologies, data platforms, and analytics tools to drive operational excellence, data visibility, and actionable insights for decisionmakers.

Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance scalability, automation, and transparency. CrossFunctional Partnership & Governance Partner closely with Physical Production, Production Finance, Safety & Security, Finance, Legal, and other crossfunctional teams to support projects, budgeting, accounting, and reporting related to risk and insurance. Advise internal teams on potential risks, coverage requirements, and mitigation strategies for new initiatives, business lines, and markets.

Understand, interpret, and apply relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards relating to insurance coverage and risk management, ensuring appropriate governance and compliance. People Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, highperforming team, creating an environment that encourages ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. Scale the function to match Netflix's growth and complexity, ensuring the team is structured, staffed, and equipped to deliver at a global, enterprise level.

Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years experience in risk management and/or insurance brokerage or underwriting Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance or related discipline Demonstrated track record leading and managing high performing teams Knowledge and experience with insurance economics and underwriting business model Experience overseeing/managing claims processes including complex claims Experience working with Actuaries and actuarial methodologies Experience with alternative risk finance techniques Deep analytical experience and ability to distill data into intuitive and actionable reports Experience with accounting principals (GAAP and Statutory) in risk and insurance Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver results Comfortable challenging the status-quo and driving change Hands-on experience with various risk and claims management systems and tools A continual focus on process improvement and automation Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.

The range for this role is $442,000.00 - $780,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs
