Job description

Job Summary:
The Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering is seeking a Director of Program Management for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role involves overseeing projects related to Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and providing strategic guidance to ensure alignment with national security initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership for Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) efforts, including experimentation, data integration, and mission command applications.
• Offer program management and advisory support to the CDAO and CJADC2 leadership.
• Develop and manage the product roadmap, lead contract project managers, and integrate requirements from various stakeholders.
• Coordinate the work of internal stakeholders in a matrix-operating environment and provide recommendations on acquisition strategies.
• Manage project budgets, report on status to senior officials, and lead the change management process for the project team.
• Project future resource requirements and participate in joint service program reviews.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Mastery of management concepts, principles, and practices related to product management, from concept and exploration through development, production, and fielding.
• Expert knowledge of Integrated Product Team (IPT) management principles.
• Broad knowledge of risk management, schedule management, scope management, and budget management.
• Mastery of applying emerging technologies, project management principles, and developing plans, schedules, and resource estimates.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Candidate is encouraged to provide e-portfolio, project samples, Github, etc. to their submission package.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
• This position is subject to provisions of the WHS/OSD Priority Placement Program.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
