Overview


Jensen Meat Company is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales – Foodservice to lead national growth across institutional, distribution, and enterprise foodservice channels. This executive role is responsible for designing and executing scalable commercial strategies, developing high-value partnerships, and driving revenue and margin growth across the foodservice portfolio.


The Director will lead the foodservice sales function, guide go-to-market strategy, and serve as a key commercial partner to executive leadership.


Primary Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term foodservice sales strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives.

• Define channel, pricing, and customer acquisition strategies to maximize margin and market share.

Market Expansion & Enterprise Accounts

• Lead enterprise business development with national foodservice operators, healthcare systems, K–12, and hospitality groups.

• Own executive-level customer relationships and contract negotiations.

Team Leadership & Perform Overview

· Lead, mentor, and develop the foodservice sales manager.

· Establish managerial KPIs, performance standards, and accountability systems.

Go-to-Market & Product Strategy

• Direct foodservice product launches with Marketing, R&D, QA, and Operations.

• Guide product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.

Channel Partnerships

• Build and manage broker and distributor networks.

• Optimize route-to-market strategy across all foodservice channels.

Financial & Sales Operations

• Own forecasting, pipeline strategy, CRM systems, and revenue reporting.

• Track gross margin, customer profitability, and growth metrics.

• Travel up to 50%.

Team Leadership & Performance

• Lead, mentor, and develop the foodservice sales manager.

• Establish managerial KPIs, performance standards, and accountability systems.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

Knowledge & Skills

· Executive-level strategic selling and negotiation capabilities.

· Strong understanding of national foodservice distribution.

· Proven experience launching products and scaling sales teams.

· Advanced CRM and analytics proficiency.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
