Summary of Position

The Director of Residences oversees the management and operations of our luxury residential units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential management within a luxury hotel or high-end residential environment, demonstrating exceptional leadership, customer service, and operational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the residences, ensuring the highest standards of service, maintenance, and overall resident satisfaction.
  2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance the residential experience.
  3. Coordinate with the hotel’s management team to ensure seamless integration of services and amenities for residents.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  5. Organize and manage resident events, activities, and services that enhance the community atmosphere.
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring a personalized and attentive experience.
  7. Develop and manage the residences’ budget, including forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting.
  8. Oversee billing and collection processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  9. Implement cost-effective measures without compromising service quality.
  10. Lead, motivate, and manage the residential team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and high standards of service.
  12. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  13. Ensure the residences are maintained to the highest standards, coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping teams.

  17. Develop and implement safety and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in luxury residential management, preferably within a high-end hotel or residential environment.
  3. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
  4. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
