If you answer yes to these questions, then you should know: Congressional Country Club is seeking a Racquets Professional.
This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons and clinics while assisting the Director of Tennis and Tennis Operations Manager in all aspects of racquets operations. Responsibilities also include managing merchandising, racquet stringing, and customizing.

What You'll Do
  • Provide tennis instruction to members and guests.
  • Conduct and teach adult and junior clinics.
  • Accurately take and manage reservations for lessons and clinics.
  • Perform timely and accurate billing for lessons, clinics, team practices, and adult programs.
  • Assist Tennis Reservationists/Attendants with calls, reservations, and member communications.
  • Build positive relationships with members and guests by being courteous, helpful, and professional.
  • Assist members with club policies, rules, regulations, and billing inquiries.
  • Promote racquet programs, lessons, and special events.
  • Follow opening/closing procedures and cash-handling protocols.
  • Support hospitality through management of racquet activities, events, and member services.
  • Maintain awareness of housekeeping, facility repair, and court maintenance needs.
  • Fill in at the reservation desk when needed, ensuring accurate processing of reservations.
  • Perform minor shop, lounge, locker room, and patio maintenance as required.

Qualifications
  • Two or more years of teaching experience (required)
  • One or more years of padel tennis experience (preferred)
  • USTA or USPTA teaching certifications (required)
