Job Summary:
PM Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering for HOTEL DU PONT, a historic hotel in Wilmington, DE. The role involves managing the Engineering department's operations, leading maintenance teams, and ensuring the upkeep of various systems while supporting capital improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing day-to-day operations of the Engineering department
• Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing training and direction
• Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems
• Oversee repair and upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance issues
• Support capital improvement projects, renovations, and equipment installations
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulations and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to identify operational efficiencies and energy-saving initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
