Job description

Specific Duties
  • Develop annual revenue and manufacturing plans in consultation with senior leaders to ensure proper resource deployment and meet production targets and delivery requirements.
  • Provide positive leadership to subordinate managers and employees, ensuring open communication and responding promptly to concerns.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS standards, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and promote a safe work environment.
  • Interface directly with key customers and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering/R&D, Purchasing, Accounting, Information Systems, and Human Resources to resolve delivery, quality, and other issues.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to develop partnerships with vendors and resolve issues related to purchased resources.
  • Provide technical manufacturing assistance to internal and external organization units.
  • Analyze and prepare Capital Appropriation Requests for capital equipment projects meeting return targets.
  • Direct human resources activities, including hiring, disciplinary actions, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and conduct activities in accordance with the Company Guide to Business Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, with five (5) or more years in senior‑level leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in customer service or supply chain.
Basic Skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing, preferably in the fastener industry.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of complex electronic business enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, peers, senior leaders, customers, and vendor representatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing and completing multiple assignments with minimal direction.
Preferred Skills
  • Strategic leadership with expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining agreement administration, workforce engagement, and change management within union environments.
