As Director of Operations forDiptyqueAmericas (USA, Canada and LATAM), you will be responsible for supporting thebrand'sgrowthinall supply chain, demand planning and operational aspects by partneringwiththe Diptyque teams, as well as 3PL and GlobalOperationsteams. You will beaccountablefor the keylogistics KPI'sas well as thefinanciallogisticsbudget.

The Director of Operations will lead and develop a high performing team of professionals - setting clear goals, providing guidance to the team, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

The Director of Operations willseekconstantoptimizationandwill fostercollaborationwithallstakeholders.

This position is based in our NYC office reporting to CFO/COO.

Missions and responsibilities-

Demand and Supply Planning

Lead the strategic deployment ofagile,demand-driven customer centric supply chain planning: Demand planning, Supply Planning and Retail distribution planning
SupervisetheSalesand Operations Planning processwiththe demand planners for all distributionchannels(E-commerce,Retail,Retaillers,Travel Retail and Distributors),animating the process with all stakeholders (sales, marketing and finance) ensuringcontinuousimprovement in the forecast accuracy
Supervise purchase plan toGlobal teamand replenishment plans toDiptyquenetworktodeliver optimal stock coverwhilemaintaining high fulfillment rate and lowcarbon footprint.
Monitor Americas Stock(in warehouse and stores)
Developand maintain seamlessrelationshipswithHQteams.
Explore and implement best-in-class and innovative solutions to improve demand and supply planning processes.
Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives.

Logistics (Transport andWarehouse)

Design logistics blueprint tosupportambitiousbrand growthand drive efficiency(identifyandassessthe best 3PL partners, transport partners, etc.)
Work closely withlocal partners andtheGlobalLogisticsteam to optimize costs for inboundand outboundflows
Lead and manage the relationshipwiththe existing 3PLto drive continuous service improvement and efficiency gains
Manage and monitor annualLogisticBudget,Reforecast andClosing.
Developannual budgetsfor Logistics andlead carbon reduction andcost-effectiveness initiatives, in collaboration with Diptyque teams, customers and suppliers.

Deep and proven experience (10+years) working in businesses requiring an exceptionally high level of business and financial acumen. Understanding ofthe drivers for cost control and inventory management.
Proven ability to attract, develop, motivate, retain and lead a high-performing team of professionals
A leader who has played a key leadership role ingrowingasupply chainorganization(from Demand Planning toLogistics)by implementing operational excellence and process improvement initiatives, as well as technology enhancements, resulting in improved procurement metrics and cost efficiency
Have End-to-end supply chain leadership experience at companies of scale and known for having best-in-class operations
Experience scaling upsupply chainoperations on a local level

Salary Range: $190,000 - $220,000
