The Operations Director at Chick-fil-A at Frederick North delivers operational excellence, fosters personal growth of its Team Members, and delivers quality customer experiences. The Operations Director reports directly to the Restaurant Owner/Operator and develops all Managers and mid-level leaders on the leadership team. The Operations Director sets the standard for operational excellence and leads by example.

About Us: Located an hour north of Washington DC in Frederick, Maryland. Chick-fil-A Frederick North is owned and operated by Dwight Sones. Dwight has served as the Owner/Operator of this restaurant since its grand opening in October 2017. Prior to his seven years as an Owner/Operator with Chick-fil-A, Dwight was blessed to serve our Nation as an officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. Of his 26 years of service, 17 were spent in the flying community as an Evaluator, Instructor, Trainer, or Trainee. Dwight has been able to transition his experience and leadership serving our country to propel Chick-fil-A Frederick North into a chain-wide leader in operational excellence. Chick-fil-A Frederick North prides itself on having a culture and work environment that's second to none in the quick service restaurant industry.

Background Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years leadership experience leading a large team
  • Experience working in a Chick-fil-A restaurant is required
  • Experience within the restaurant or quick service food industry
  • Experiences in both the Front of House and Back of House operations of a restaurant
  • 40-45 hours per week availability, evening and Saturdays are included
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certified (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for Chick-fil-A and an understanding of Corporate purpose, mission, values

  • This is truly a hands-on position with up to 75% of each Director's time spent working and directing restaurant operations.
