Business Development Representative
The Grove Estate – Luxury Residential Treatment Facility
Pay: $80,000-$100,000 per year
Location: 3413 S Wallick Rd, Peru, IN 46970

About The Grove Estate
The Grove Estate is a boutique-style, luxury residential treatment center specializing in addiction and co-occurring mental health care. Our serene 25-acre setting offers discreet, individualized programs that combine evidence-based clinical therapies with holistic wellness—private accommodations, supportive outdoor spaces, chef-prepared nutrition, fitness and meditation, and tailored care plans designed for sustained recovery. We serve individuals and families across Indiana and deliver an elevated treatment experience rooted in dignity, excellence, and results.
The Role
The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing and executing marketing and outreach strategies that drive patient referrals and admissions. This role will report directly to the CEO and play a key leadership role in expanding the organization’s presence in the behavioral health and SUD treatment space.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development and marketing plan to meet census and revenue goals

  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with: Hospitals and emergency department, Physicians and mental health providers, Substance use treatment programs, Social services, legal/judicial partners, and community organizations

  • Identify new referral sources and partnership opportunities in the community

  • Lead outreach initiatives, including networking events, tours, and educational programs

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic growth initiatives

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and operations to align growth strategies

  • Ensure all outreach efforts align with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards

  • Track referral development activity and maintain CRM/reporting metrics

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, healthcare marketing, or behavioral health/SUD programs

  • Proven success in driving admissions and building referral pipelines

  • Strong knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment services

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet growth targets
