Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, a global leader in intellectual property law, is seeking a Senior Director of Professional Development to lead firmwide attorney development and talent management programs across offices and practice groups. This role focuses on ensuring the firm's approach to training, career progression, and leadership development is structured, consistent, and aligned with long-term business priorities.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Director will shape and operationalize the firm's professional development strategy, bringing discipline and clarity to how attorneys are onboarded, developed, evaluated, and advanced while partnering closely with firm leadership to strengthen engagement, retention, and leadership readiness.

  • Establish consistency and clarity across attorney development programs firmwide
  • Translate firm priorities into integrated professional development strategies
