We are seeking an experienced Director of Process Engineer (Northeast) for our First Quality facilities located in McElhattan, PA and Lewistown, PA.

Thispositionwillberesponsibleforleadingandimplementingprocessengineeringsystemmanagement,principles,andbestpracticesatallAbHysites.Theseeffortsincludedrivingchanges toalignwithallcross-functionaldepartmentstoProcessEngineeringbestpracticesand implementproductivityimprovementeffortsthatensurewearethehighestquality,lowestcostproducerinthemarket.Inaddition,willprovidesystems,methods,andtrainingstoensureteammembershavetheappropriateinformation,knowledge,andskillstodeliverbestinclasssafety,qualityprinciples,machineequipment,costandsystemreliabilitytothemarketplace.

PrincipalAccountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • WorkscloselywiththecrossfunctionalOperations,Planning,Quality,Maintenance,andEngineeringleaderstodrivedivisionalalignmentandprojectsfortheNortheastsitesof theAbHydivision.

  • Drivesefficiencyimprovementandscrapreductioneffortsthroughtheapplicationofcontinuousimprovementtoolsconsistentlyacrossallplants.

  • Providesroadmapandtrainingfortheeffectiveimplementationofreliability,centerlining,pinning,andruntotargetprocessesusingallavailablesystemsandresourcesacrossallplants.

  • SetsstandardsforengineeringsystemsandpracticesanddrivestheseacrosstheAbHy divisionsofthecompany.

  • Drivesandownsproductivityprojectsandinvolvesplantpersonneltoachievetargets acrossalldepartmentsconsistentlyacrossallplants.

  • Providesspecificexpertise,training,andguidanceonsoftware,dataanalytics,SPC,andbestpracticesusingindustrystandardtoolsandprocesses.

  • Buildsateamtoprovideexcellenceinserviceandmanagementofsystemandprocess reliabilityacrossthedivision.

Qualifications/educationandexperiencerequirements:

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinEngineering

  • Minimumoftenyearsofexperienceinahigh-speedmanufacturingenvironmentandleadingrapidcontinuousimprovement.

  • Minimumoffiveyearsofallbusiness-relatedsoftwaresystemsexperience.

  • BlackBelt/SixSigmacertificationpreferred.
