Are you a PGA professional who loves teaching the game as much as growing the people around you? Do you combine technical expertise with the ability to coach, inspire, and connect with guests at every level?

We are looking for a Director of Instruction who can build and lead Topgolf's golf instruction platform at their venue, driving lesson volume, developing Lead Instructors, and creating programming that keeps guests coming back to grow their game.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead Golf Instruction

Coordinate, schedule, and deliver individual and group golf lessons for guests of all skill levels

Utilize swing analysis technology, launch monitors, and teaching aids in all instruction programs

Walk the tee line during peak times to market the instruction platform and offer impromptu lessons

Direct tournaments, leagues, summer camps, and player development series at the venue

Grow the Instruction Platform

Grow the golf instruction program through marketing, community outreach, and partnerships

Work with the events team to promote and integrate lessons into event programming

Supervise information requests related to lesson schedules and instructional series

Develop and implement player development series ideas that drive engagement and repeat visits

Manage and Develop Instructors

Manage and develop coaching and sales skills in Lead Instructors

Build a team of instructors who deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences

Hold instructors accountable for lesson quality, scheduling, and guest satisfaction

Manage Operations and Budget

Manage club fitting, club repair, and general maintenance of golf equipment

Maintain inventory of golf services tools, technology, and teaching aids

Meet budgetary requirements for the golf services program

QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years of experience teaching golf lessons across multiple skill levels

PGA Membership; Class A Certification preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience managing an independent golf lesson program

Proven record of accomplishment of successful golf instruction

Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology

Exceptional coaching ability and strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time

Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must be 21 years of age or older as required by state or local law

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
