We are currently seeking an experienced PRN Physical Therapist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a key role in improving patients' lives through personalized, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

  • Perform assessments of muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion.

  • Develop individualized care and exercise programs tailored to patient needs.

  • Provide gait training and recommend/teach the use of assistive devices.
  • Educate patients, families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and equipment.

  • Document patient progress and communicate updates to the Director of Nursing and physician.

  • Participate in case conferences and discharge planning.

  • Provide staff in-service education and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

  • Licensure: Current, active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Mexico; must have passed the NPTE and state exam.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of physical therapy experience (home health or facility preferred).

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of PT methods, evidence- based practices, and ability to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing. walking, bending, kneeling, and other physical activities required in care delivery.
