Join a fast-paced, high-volume operation as Director of Warehouse Operations, where you'll drive performance across inventory, fulfillment, and systems optimization. You'll partner closely with executive leadership and warehouse management to lead process improvements, enhance WMS/ERP functionality, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions that increase efficiency, scalability, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in complex distribution environments and can translate strategy into operational excellence.

Director of Warehouse Operations – Your Job Duties

  • Act as a critical liaison for the executive team to provide operational updates, recommendations, and strategic planning insights
  • Manage and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to strategize on operational improvements and oversee execution of company-wide inventory management processes and inbound and outbound inventory workflows
  • Implement process improvements to optimize space utilization and labor efficiency
  • Contribute to the optimization of core systems functionality including ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a focus on automation and efficiency
  • Evaluate and recommend AI and automation tools to enhance overall warehouse operations
  • Monitor, manage and continuously improve upon warehouse processes to meet strict compliance requirements of major customers

Director of Warehouse Operations – You Have (Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

  • Strong leadership experience with a collaborative, team-building approach
  • Prior experience with seasonal business operations
  • Prior experience working with WMS and ERP systems and improving upon system and data processes
  • Prior experience overseeing warehouse teams, leads, and managers to operational excellence
  • Prior experience managing a high-volume warehouse environment with a broad customer base and high SKU count.
  • Familiarity with maintaining consistent safety and OSHA compliance protocols in a warehouse setting
