Position Overview:


As Director of Operations, you will oversee the overall performance and day-to-day operations of each location, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across front-of-house and back-of-house teams, drives operational excellence, and partners with senior leadership to support the long-term success and growth of the location.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and guest experience. 
  • Train and develop management team members. 
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards. 
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Partner with General Managers and department leaders to drive team performance and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations across the operation.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a strong management bench. 
  • Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the planning and execution of new initiatives, promotions, and openings.
  • Conduct daily floor walks to ensure cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and smooth service flow.
  • Handle guest concerns and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll accuracy, and labor cost management on-site.
  • Serve as a key point of communication between ownership, leadership, and on-site teams.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a multi-unit or high-volume restaurant operation as a Director of Operations or similar role; Mediterranean or hospitality group experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable across multiple departments.
