Service Delivery Coordinator II

BUSINESS UNIT: BeyondReachย 

FUNCTION: Service Delivery

REPORTS TO: Director of Service Deliveryย 

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt ย 

LOCATION: Cedar Rapids, Iowaย 

EDUCATION: Industry standard technology certificationsย 

EXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience preferred ย

This role will maintain project plans within BeyondReach and work with internal teams to develop technical and non-technical standards to ensure all projects flow smoothly from implementation to completion.

What You'll Accomplish and Experience?ย 

  • Working within the project's objectives, create schedules and ensure quality control.
  • Helping to develop and clarify project scopes, objectives, detailed work plans, resource plans, communications, project deliverables, status reports and budgets as needed.
  • Coordinating project plans and team assignments, leading and monitoring work efforts, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources accordingly to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet stakeholder expectations while identifying work required to achieve project deliverables.
  • Initiating client invoicing as agreed-upon in Statement of Work.
  • Preparing and communicating updates and statuses throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assessing out-of-scope work as it occurs and coordinating billing for such items with client and relevant CCR departments.
  • Design, drive and implement point to point (PTP) and point to multi-point (PTMP) solutions.
  • Skilled negotiating skills to obtain best prices, terms, and conditions, including one-time and long-term contract purchases, including preparing purchase orders and placing orders.
  • Obtain permits from municipalities for the completion of project installations when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desirable Previous Experience?ย 

  • Operational knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies
  • Competent organizational & planning skills to properly divide your time between tasks.
  • Adept knowledge and background in service delivery fundamentals as pertaining to service implementation and functionality.
  • Proficient knowledge base in Microsoft Office Suite (Office365).
  • Decisive problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to facilitate projects from beginning to end.
  • Maintain composure when faced with conflict and adjust quickly and effectively as team role changes.
  • Review and analyze project status using tools, dashboards, and reporting to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Experience and understanding of IP networks and circuits (DIA, Broadband).
  • Understanding of Wireless PTP/PTMP.
  • Ability to research to locate lease agreements for tower space, land, and rooftops.
  • Acquiring permits for permanent/temporary power and cell towers construction.
  • Ability to coordinate field service vendors to complete installations.
