Job description

WHY THIS ROLE

Most restaurant leadership roles ask you to run a department. This one asks you to run a restaurant. As the Operations Director at our Colleyville Blvd. & Main Chick-fil-A, you are the standard-bearer - the leader who represents the Operator's vision, holds the culture in place, and drives excellence across every function when it matters most. If you've spent your career building toward a role with real authority, real accountability, and real impact, this is it.

ABOUT COLLEYVILLE BLVD. & MAIN CHICK-FIL-A

We are a people-first Chick-fil-A location built on a foundation of remarkable hospitality, operational excellence, and intentional leadership development. Our Operator is deeply invested in building a restaurant that is not just successful - but exceptional. We are building a culture where leaders grow, guests win, and team members thrive. The Director of Operations is the person who makes that culture real every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as the highest-ranking leader in the restaurant in the Operator's absence - owning the standard across all functions and all shifts.

Lead and develop a director-level team across FOH, BOH, Talent, Sales & Brand Growth, and Community & Marketing.

Drive guest experience outcomes across all channels: dining room, drive-thru, mobile, delivery, and catering.

Manage the financial health of the restaurant - food cost, labor, profitability, payroll, vendor relationships, and end-of-month reporting.

Maintain elite operational compliance across all systems: AHA, InFORM, food safety, thawing, prep, and scheduling.

Build a culture of accountability and growth by coaching in real time, holding standards with consistency, and developing high-potential leaders.

Partner directly with the Operator on strategic priorities, KPI reviews, and the long-term vision for the restaurant.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A proven senior leader with a track record of driving results through others in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Operationally excellent - deeply familiar with the systems, metrics, and disciplines that make a great restaurant run.

Financially fluent, with experience managing P&L, labor, food cost, and expense oversight.

A builder of people and culture - someone who develops leaders intentionally and holds teams accountable with clarity and care.

Guest-obsessed, with a genuine commitment to 2nd Mile hospitality at every level of the operation.

Highly organized and administratively strong - comfortable owning payroll, vendor management, scheduling systems, and reporting.

A communicator who leads with confidence, earns trust quickly, and represents the Operator's vision faithfully.

Prior restaurant management or multi-unit leadership experience strongly preferred; Chick-fil-A experience a plus.

Deep alignment with Chick-fil-A's mission, values, and the Winning Hearts Every Day strategy.

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.

Paid time off (PTO).

Health insurance with supplemented premiums.

401(k) with a generous company matching program.

A high-autonomy leadership role with direct partnership with the Owner/Operator.

A strong, growing director team and a culture that invests in leadership development.

Scholarship opportunities through Chick-fil-A's national program.

Sundays off - always.

Meal discounts and team perks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & SCHEDULE

Must be available to work weekends (Saturday availability required).

Ability to lift and carry 10-40 lbs on a regular basis.

Ability to stand for extended periods throughout each shift.

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed.

Flexible schedule required to support restaurant operations across all dayparts, including opening and closing.

Reliable transportation required.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at the highest level in one of the most respected brands in the industry. If you're ready to own it - apply today.

Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
