Umpqua Community College (UCC) is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the College's Nursing programs. This position serves as the academic and administrative leader responsible for advancing program excellence, ensuring accreditation and regulatory compliance, supporting faculty success, and preparing students to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our communities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hold at least a master's degree in nursing with documentation of preparation and/or experience in curriculum and teaching; and
  • Have at least five years of nursing experience, of which three years shall have been in a nurse educator or administrative position in a nursing education program
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
  • Successful completion of a criminal history clearance
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS card by start date
  • Proficiency with instructional and industry technology within 6 months (i.e. word processing, e-mail, learning management system, digital and social media)
