Role Description

Sleep is inherently tied to health, and we have an immense opportunity to leverage our Pod platform to detect medical conditions and to provide therapy. We are looking for a Director of Medical Operations to contribute critically to this mission. This role will provide leadership for implementing processes and manufacturing controls specific to the medical products division, and will oversee and coordinate testing efforts related to design verification and validation. This role will interact closely with R&D, Clinical, QA/RA, and the executive team. Your work will improve the lives of numerous users and will enable our core mission of improving sleep and saving lives.

This role is based out of our offices in San Francisco.

How You'll Contribute
  • Implement mandated manufacturing controls while maintaining high velocity operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with R&D and RA/QA to execute critical testing initiatives
  • Guide cross-functional engineering teams in producing risk management documentation
  • Collaborate with the consumer operations leads to accelerate medical product upgrades
  • Contribute to ROI assessments for potential medical product adaptations (new markets)
What You Need to Succeed
  • 8+ years of industry experience in operations or manufacturing functions for medical devices
  • Successful track record of FDA clearance (510(k), De Novo)
  • Exemplary at cross-functional program management
  • Experience managing and initiating global manufacturing initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
