We are committed to building a best-in-class organization by empowering top talent with the resources, autonomy, and support needed to deliver results and advance their careers in a high-performance environment.
Role Overview
As the Investor Relations Senior Associate, you will serve as the day-to-day execution lead for Investor Relations, owning core workflows, managing and reviewing junior team output, and ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality investor deliverables. This role is intended to add mid-level ownership, judgment, and accountability within IR, allowing the Head of IR to focus on strategy, senior investor relationships, and cross functional leadership.
Execution Ownership & Quality Control
• Own end-to-end execution of recurring and ad hoc IR deliverables, including:
o Investor reporting coordination and distribution
o DDQs, RFPs, and ad hoc investor information requests
o Investor onboarding, transfers, and portal updates
o Side letter tracking and compliance coordination
Team Oversight & Daily Workflow Management
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and prioritization guidance to junior IR team members.
• Assign work, set deadlines, and manage day-to-day workflow and capacity.
• Identify training needs and support progression toward increased ownership and independence.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for execution issues, missed deadlines, or data discrepancies.
Investor Communication & Issue Resolution
• Draft and review investor communications, ensuring appropriate tone, clarity, and responsiveness.
• Monitor the investor inbox and ensure timely acknowledgment and resolution of inquiries.
• Anticipate common investor questions and proactively address recurring issues.
• Partner with accounting, fund administration, compliance, tax, and legal teams to resolve investor inquiries efficiently.
Process Discipline & Knowledge Management
• Maintain and enhance IR workflows, trackers, and calendars, including reporting timelines, questionnaires, and side letter obligations.
• Ensure documentation and "how-to" guides are current, accessible, and support continuity and onboarding.
• Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Act as the primary IR execution liaison with Accounting, Fund Administration, Legal and Compliance, Tax, Investments and Portfolio Management (for reporting), and Capital Raising (for DDQ handoffs and investor meetings).
• Clearly delineate IR versus Capital Raising ownership post-close to ensure smooth handoffs and accountability.
Qualifications
• 5-8+ years of experience in institutional investor relations, fund administration, asset management, or a related field
• Deep familiarity with investor reporting, DDQs, side letters, and capital call/distribution mechanics
• Experience managing or informally leading junior team members
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to operate independently
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality in a fast-paced environment
• High standards of comfort working with senior stakeholders and institutional investors
