NewVista Health and Wellness is currently recruiting a Director of Assessment and Intake for Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis, a premier SUD Treatment Center in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSW) required.
Estimated Pay Range: $60k-90k/annually

THE ROLE

The Director of Assessment and Intake performs the evaluation and admission process in conjunction with the on-call physician. The Director of Assessment and Intake directs the assessment department activities and monitors the quality of services provided. The Director of Assessment and Intake must be flexible, with excellent customer service, and be able to review clinical information and present it to the physician on call. He/She must be comfortable with entering information into Medik and Salesforce as well as verifying insurance coverage. The Director of Intake must also understand urgency and be able to work well in stressful situations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the Director of Assessment and Intake position, you must have:
  • Must be licensed as a Social Worker (LCSW/LISW,/LSW/MSW )
  • Must have clinical experience as an LCSW
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a hospital Intake department; behavioral health or SUD preferred
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
  • Valid driver's license and a favourable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own vehicle.
  • CPR and Handle with Care (HWC) certified within 30 days.
