Lake City Center for Nursing and healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nursing leader who is ready to grow, develop, and take the next step in their leadership career.

If you have 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting—whether as a Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or ADON—we would be happy to speak with you. 

About Us

Responsibilities 

The ADON performs diverse duties to support quality resident care, including: 

  • Coordinating comprehensive nursing care 

  • Implementing specialized clinical procedures and programs 

  • Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals 

  • Ensuring compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations 

Key Duties 

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and compliant resident care 

  • Participate in the nursing home survey process 

  • Oversee infection control and quality assurance initiatives 

  • Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff 

  • Organize and support in-service education and training programs 

Requirements 

  • Active RN license 

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting 

  • Strong team orientation and communication skills 

  • Infection Prevention experience preferred 

  • Experience training and educating staff 

Schedule 

  • Monday–Friday 

  • Alternating weekend on-call rotation
