The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities across the Dallas-Fort Worth and West Texas markets. This role includes managing media strategy, call center operations, and event marketing teams. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performance retail and events marketing team, developing a successful infrastructure to drive continuous improvement, ensuring team members consistently meet or exceed monthly projections, business goals, and KPIs.
This leadership role requires a seasoned marketing professional who can develop and execute forward-thinking strategies, lead high-performing teams, and ensure tactical excellence in Marketing. This position will collaborate closely with Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment across the organization and measurable impact on key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and action plans to increase sales and market share.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team, including media strategy, call center, and event marketing teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Develop and maintain an infrastructure that ensures team members consistently meet or exceed monthly projections, business goals, and KPIs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to define process improvements, enhance efficiencies, and improve the quality of work. Forecast annual and monthly projections through various metrics and trend reporting.
  • Budget and Vendor Management: Contribute to contract negotiations and manage vendor relationships, working to optimize ROI for the marketing operations budget.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Define hiring plans to accommodate growth across all markets. Create and implement employee policies, manuals, and training programs to optimize production.
  • Digital Marketing Leadership: Lead digital marketing initiatives to generate leads, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing campaigns.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the home improvement industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and executional capabilities, with a track record of delivering results.
