Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Corporate Development & Strategy to join our growing team in support of our corporate and federal programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful, mission-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Deep Understanding of iCatalyst Capabilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of iCatalyst's service offerings, technical capabilities, past performance, differentiators, and strategic objectives.
  • Translate organizational capabilities into compelling value propositions tailored to the Federal Agency mission needs and priorities.

    Drive Business Growth Within the Federal Agency:

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new growth opportunities across the federal agency’s Lines of Business, Program Offices, and stakeholder organizations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and acquisition stakeholders to expand iCatalyst's presence and market share.

    Executive-Level Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a trusted representative of iCatalyst with senior government leadership and industry stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with federal agency executives and leaders and other key decision-makers.
  • Provide executive insights and market intelligence to company leadership to support strategic decision-making.

    Position iCatalyst for Strategic Advantage:

  • Lead efforts to effectively position iCatalyst as a trusted partner and solution provider within the federal agency.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies, customer engagement plans, and value-driven messaging that align with agency priorities and initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to strengthen iCatalyst's market position within an agency.

    Support Contract Retention and Expansion:

  • Partner with operational and program leadership teams to ensure successful renewal, recompete, and expansion of existing contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for contract growth through new task orders, scope of expansion, and cross-selling of iCatalyst capabilities.
  • Develop and execute capture strategies for upcoming opportunities.

    Pipeline Development and Revenue Growth:

  • Build, maintain, and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities that support the company's growth objectives.
  • Establish measurable growth targets and regularly report on pipeline health, customer engagement activities, and opportunity status.
  • Collaborate with proposal, delivery, and executive teams to convert opportunities into awarded business.

    Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence:

    Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Work collaboratively with delivery, capture, business development, contracts, and executive leadership teams to align growth strategies with company goals.
  • Ensure customer commitments, growth initiatives, and business development activities support long-term organizational success.

    Primary Commitment and Conflict-Free Representation:

  • Maintain iCatalyst as the primary professional responsibility and ensure all external activities are fully disclosed and approved in accordance with company policies.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 25+ years of progressive experience in federal business development, account management, capture management, or strategic growth, preferably supporting federal civilian agencies.
  • Proven track record of winning new business, expanding existing contracts, and achieving revenue growth objectives through successful capture and account strategies.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior government executives, program managers, contracting officers, and acquisition stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting contract renewals, recompetes, task order growth, and expansion of existing programs.
  • Knowledge of federal budgeting, acquisition planning, procurement regulations, and government contracting practices.
  • Experience providing strategic market intelligence and executive-level recommendations to support organizational growth and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required U.S. Government security clearance and travel as needed to support customer engagements and business development activities.
Education
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution

  • The likely salary range or Hourly rate for this position is $200k-$250k.

Salary range reflects our commitment to pay equity and transparency. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, certifications, labor qualifications, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
