About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience
Location - Bellevue or Seattle, WA

Salesforce is looking for a Director of Enablement Engineering who is as comfortable managing a high-performing team as they are live in front of a room full of engineers. This role leads the Enablement Engineering team within Technology, People, Innovation & Learning (TPIL), reporting to the Senior Director of TPIL Learning, and is central to driving Salesforce's AI adoption journey across the Technology & Products (T&P) organization.
This is a player-coach role. You'll set the vision and direction for the team, develop and grow your engineers, and still roll up your sleeves to build and facilitate world-class technical enablement yourself. You know how to lead, but you haven't lost the hands-on instincts that made you good at this work.
What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enablement Engineers - setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, supporting career growth and fostering a collaborative, high-standards team culture
  • Drive team priorities and workload planning in alignment with broader T&P learning strategy and represent the team and its impact with senior stakeholders
  • Partner with the Senior Director of TPIL Learning to shape the enablement engineering strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop and facilitate live and virtual technical enablement sessions for Salesforce engineers and technical audiences - making complex AI and platform concepts accessible and actionable.

You're Our Person If...

  • You have proven experience leading and managing technical teams - you know how to hire well, develop people, and build a team that does their best work.
  • You have hands-on software engineering experience - you write code, not just read it. Proficiency in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar) is required.
  • You have solid understanding of software development fundamentals: version control (Git), application programming interfaces (APIs), debugging, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • You have proven experience presenting and facilitating to technical audiences - you're energized by a room, not intimidated by it. You are comfortable setting up and troubleshooting technical environments on the fly and able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, audience-appropriate content.

Even Better If...

  • You have experience with Salesforce platform development (Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, or similar).
  • You have familiarity with AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience working with AI tools - prompt engineering, large language models (LLMs), Agentforce, or Copilot.
  • You have a background in developer relations, technical training, or solutions engineering.
  • You can build and maintain demo environments, sandboxes, and code samples that support live facilitation.

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance andbe your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you cando your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love.
