Job description

Development Director Job Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan to meet fundraising goals.

● Manage and increase the portfolio of donors.

● Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards fundraising goals.

● Plan and execute special events.

● Manage grant writing and identification of new grant opportunities.

● Generate donor communications, newsletters, and annual reports.

● Assist in creation of print, digital and social media content.

● Network and maintain regular correspondence with donors.

● Identify prospects for major gifts and solicit these donors for support.

● Ensure accurate gift reporting and tracking of monetary donations.

● Ensure appropriate donor recognition and stewardship in a timely manner.

● Enter and maintain accurate records in CWW database system.

Director of Development is a full time, $49,000 salary position. This position will allow for a hybrid work schedule, with a typical workweek including three in-office days and two remote days. A $2,500 bonus opportunity is available for meeting revenue goals. Paid Time Off and unpaid days off are available as well as holiday pay. Professional development opportunities available based upon budget. Health Insurance is not available to this position.
