What will you be doing?

The Digital & AI Platforms organization at World Wide Technology is hiring an Associate Client Solutions Director (ACSD) to lead delivery of strategic digital and AI programs, build and strengthen client relationships, and grow our footprint in key accounts.

The ACSD (St. Louis based) will partner with client stakeholders in both business and technology roles, and lead WWT teams spanning software engineering, AI/ML engineering, design, and product, among others, to shape and execute the right solution. Success means profitable engagements, long-lasting client relationships, and outcomes that earn the next opportunity.

This is a technical leadership role. ACSDs have come up through engineering, architecture, or technical delivery, and stay credible in technical conversations with Director- and VP-level technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Own key client relationships and foster trusted partnerships to drive client satisfaction of current programs and ongoing account growth

  • Build and grow partnerships with clients (VP/Director level) across both business leadership and engineering/technology leadership

  • Define and oversee client relationship management within the program team

  • Join sales team to close opportunities through functions such as proposal strategy, pitch approach, contract writing, and negotiation strategy

  • Partner with Sales to navigate the client organization to build new relationships, broaden areas of impact, and open doors to new opportunities

  • Operate as the ultimate business and technical consultant to the client, bringing industry expertise and thought leadership

Overseeing Delivery Team to execute profitable engagements that create value for both the clients and WWT, with meaningful business outcomes

  • Own the program strategy and shape the technical solutions we provide to our clients

  • Serve as the primary account-level financial lead and hold accountability in meeting profit expectations and growth goals

  • Guide delivery teams in reporting and delivery updates, ensuring the client recognizes the value of the work, and escalations are made as needed

  • Coach and mentor program leadsand drive team health

Serving as the lead of the client program, taking accountability for account health and business performance

  • Operate as the day-to-day lead of the client program, and coordinate and escalate within WWT as needed

  • Provide regular status and financial reporting to WWT leadership

  • Lead and coordinate across internal organizational lines — engineering, design, data, AI, cloud — ensuring we present as one unified team to the client

Identify and pursue opportunities that create additional value for clients and WWT

  • Proactively identify opportunities for new projects and pursue those, through defining a clear proposal, navigating the client’s organization to pitch to key buyers, leading a pursuit team, and more

  • Identify new ways to align WWT offerings to support the client’s strategic goals

Qualification

  • 10+ years of applicable experience, including 3+ years as a Digital Account Director, Digital Project Director or client-facing technical consultant at the Manager or Senior Manager level.

  • Earlier career experience as a technical lead, software engineer, solutions architect, or applicable role

  • Proven track record of establishing and growing high-value relationships and partnerships with customers

  • Experience presenting/pitching strategic recommendations and complex concepts

  • Experience leading digital transformation programs such as AI/ML and GenAI, data platforms and analytics, custom software development (web, mobile, APIs, microservices), and modernization of legacy systems.

  • Highly skilled at leading diverse cross-functional teams to create, implement and evolve technical solutions to drive tangible, measurable client results.

  • Working knowledge of modern software delivery

  • Experience working at a digital consultancy, software product company, or technology-led agency.

  • Held responsibility for project financials/budget and understanding P&L.

Working conditions

  • Travel as needed to client and WWT sites (approximately 15% or less)
  • Located in or near St. Louis, MO

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Organizational Relationships

  • This position reports to the Senior Client Solutions Director within the digital organization.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $134,000 to $168,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
