Summary

Data Centers is one of Belimo's six strategic growth initiatives with the objective of establishing and maintaining Belimo as the preferred supplier of field devices to data center customers located throughout the world. The Global Head of Data Centers will develop Belimoโ€™s global growth strategy for the data center vertical market and will collaborate closely with both the Regional Data Center Vertical Market Teams and global cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment of that strategy. The Global Head of Data Centers is expected to serve as a role-model of Belimoโ€™s Vision and Values leading a multinational team. While this role is global in scope, this position reports to the President of the Americas Region and is based in Danbury, CT. Remote applicants based in California will also be considered.

What You'll Do
  • Develop Belimoโ€™s global growth strategy for the data centers vertical market and will collaborate closely with both the Regional Data Centers Vertical Market Teams and global cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment of that strategy
  • Manage, lead, and inspire the Global Data Centers Team to execute the Data Centers strategic growth strategy, including Global Applications Manager, Global Training Manager, and Global Marketing Communications Manager
  • Analyze and understand the global data centers vertical market, including applications, technology, key players and trends
  • Develop a deep understanding of the heat rejection systems being deployed in current generation data centers as well as those being considered for next generation data centers by working closely with the Regional Data Center Vertical Market Teams and external industry experts and customers
  • Collaborate closely with the four Product Business Lines to develop a product roadmap for data center applications worldwide
  • Develop a highly collaborative work environment between Belimoโ€™s Regional Data Centers Vertical Market and Sales Teams to enable Belimo to provide an unsurpassed customer service experience to data center customers executing projects worldwide
  • Provide leadership, education, and support to enable the Regional Data Centers Vertical Market and Sales Teams in the EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Americas regions to be successful
  • Oversee development and delivery of a marketing strategy to effectively support the global data centers strategic growth strategy
  • Serve as role model for Belimoโ€™s Vision and Values through all interactions with Belimo employees and customers.
  • Track the progress of the Data Centers and hold quarterly reviews with the Executive Committee
Who You Are
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required; degree in engineering preferred
  • 10 Years proven trackโ€‘record in the HVAC, data centers or related technical fields
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies across regions and functions
  • Proven ability to implement organizational change
  • Prior experience leading crossโ€‘functional, global teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer skills
  • Position requires approximately 40% travel
