Description

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. 

We are now hiring a strategic leader to serve as the Director of Supported Employment & Community Services for Council Bluffs, IA. The Director of Supported Employment & Community Services reports to the State Director and provides leadership and oversight for the organization's Traditional Supported Employment and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) programs. This role supports youth and adults with significant disabilities in achieving competitive integrated employment through high-quality, person-centered services. The Director ensures program excellence, regulatory compliance, strong community partnerships, and positive employment outcomes. 

Starting Salary: $55,000

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and oversee Supported Employment and Pre-ETS programs.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop employment services staff.
  • Ensure compliance with program standards, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Build partnerships with employers, schools, Vocational Rehabilitation, and community agencies.
  • Monitor program performance, budgets, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic planning and program growth.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, Business, Education, or a related field preferred
  • Sales/ marketing or community outreach experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
