This role combines marketing, business development, event planning, community partnerships, social media, and leadership into one exciting opportunity to influence thousands of guests every week.


This senior level leader will have significant ownership over developing and executing the restaurant's marketing strategy while collaborating closely with the Operator and director team.

Director of Marketing & Community Engagement Responsibilities


Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Lead and oversee marketing team consisting of 2 direct reports: Marketing Leader and Marketing Assistant
  • Create a yearly, quarterly, and monthly Sales & Marketing plan
  • Take full responsibility for putting the plan into action
  • Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and leadership team


Community Engagement & Business Development

  • Community blitzing (leading with food) to establishing long-term, successful partnerships in Mahoning County.
  • Create outside sales opportunities with schools and pharmaceutical reps
  • Partner with Marketing Leader to execute at minimum of one community connection night each quarter (i.e. Daddy Daughter Night, Valentine's Dinner, Bingo etc.)
  • Fundraisers, Donation Requests, and Spirit Weeks
  • Responding to all donation requests within 1 week of submission
  • Concessions and Third-party Sales
  • Lead community outreach, seek local event opportunities, and build lasting local relationships with our community, which can include donation requests and attending events.


Sales Growth & Catering

  • Identify day-part opportunities by discovering current trends, then creating strategic initiatives to maximize our impact in Sales, Transaction Count, and Check Average
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive catering growth strategy.
  • Streamline in-store operational process to increase catering order execution
  • Increase brand awareness throughout the Mahoning Valley through strategic partnerships, events, and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Build repeat customer business through networking, business contacts, and consistent REMARKable experiences.
  • Utilizes internal SPOTLIGHT application to engage guests, especially potential catering guests.
  • Be the key mobile strategist creating a plan to increase guest mobile utilization.


Digital Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and Implement a comprehensive social media strategy, creating engaging content and managing online platforms to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Oversee Marketing Assistant who is monitoring social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and manage the online reputation of the restaurant effectively.
  • Oversee the creation, placement, and maintenance of all restaurant signage.


Restaurant Operations

  • Support restaurant operations during peak business periods to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Working one PM shift per week


Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required to meet the needs of the position
