The Opportunity

This is a new business sales position responsible for building a book of business and being responsible for client success post-sale. The Director of Client Success is responsible for hunting new territory and developing new business within an assigned geographic territory. This is a critical and highly visible position that is integral to growing revenue and maintaining client relationships at Brkthru. The Director of Client Success (CSD) reports to the Regional Director (RD) of Client Success.


Location:

This is an in-market sales role with travel for client meetings and internal meetings required. The role requires at least 25% client travel (local, regional, and national) plus internal travel for sales meetings as needed. 


Brkthru operates as a fully remote company with occasional mandatory travel for training and offsites, provided with advance notice, and in-market travel for sales positions. We uphold the expectation that all team members maintain a dedicated and reliable workspace, free from distractions, to ensure optimal productivity. This role also requires client travel.


Responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain a solid and legitimate pipeline of active and pending business
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses across all verticals, industries and business types
  • Ability to close and win business consistently
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends
  • Ability to solve problems and have direct conversations both internally and externally
  • Prepare regular sales reports as well as territory plans
  • Identifying potential customers through networking initiatives, cold-calling, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with support team to prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty
  • Maintain monthly collections to company standards
  • Established ability to maintain long term client relationships
  • Responsible for receiving customer referrals and client testimonials
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM system at all times
  • Ability to be timely and be present for all meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in new business sales within the advertising industry
  • 3+ Digital Media experience highly preferred (Programmatic, CTV/OTT, Audio, DOOH, etc)
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills
  • Excellent internal communication within all departments
  • Possess and demonstrate the company Core Values
  • Proven track record of achieving (or exceeding!) sales quotas
  • Ability to travel for client and internal meetings as need
  • Based within a priority sales market

  • This is a base plus commission position. The base compensation range for this role is between $80,000-120,000 commensurate with experience and skills identified during the interview process. OTE includes the base salary and potential commission earnings. OTE potential is dependent on individual performance and sales success.
