SALARY: $110,000 – $120,000 Per Year

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing assists the Administrator in driving business development, lead generation, and strategic marketing programs for the facility. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies for healthcare services to assure strong referral source engagement; increasing market penetration; building a positive brand identity in the community; and achieving census and revenue growth goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Works with the Administrator and leadership team to develop and execute short- and long-term strategic marketing plans.

  • Meets occupancy and census growth goals through targeted community outreach, relationship building, and strategic placement initiatives.

  • Responds immediately and professionally to all digital, telephone, print, and walk-in marketing inquiries.

  • Conducts comprehensive facility tours and delivers persuasive sales presentations to prospective residents, families, and key community stakeholders.

  • Establishes, expands, and maintains an active target database of healthcare referral sources (e.g., hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners, and community organizations).

  • Nurtures long-term referral relationships through regular outreach visits, educational presentations, and networking events.

  • Identifies local market trends, competitor positioning, and brand growth opportunities within target hospital networks and medical groups.

  • Coordinates and participates in health fairs, community events, and clinical presentations to raise public awareness of facility programs.

  • Tracks and analyzes marketing metrics, including lead sources, conversion rates, campaign effectiveness, and outreach activities; submits regular reports to corporate leadership.

  • Maintains high visibility in the healthcare community to promote brand recognition and maintain a positive public image.

  • Collaborates with the Admissions team to ensure seamless handoff and communication throughout the inquiry and tour process.

  • Works with facility leadership to monitor resident and family satisfaction trends to inform marketing and brand positioning.

  • Oversees marketing collateral, digital directory listings, and promotional materials in alignment with brand standards.

  • Assures facility marketing activities comply with all applicable healthcare regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA), and company policies.

  • Prioritizes resident and staff safety by adhering to facility fire, health, safety, and disaster plans, as well as current SDS/MSDS protocols.

  • Ensures prospective residents and families receive high-quality service in a compassionate atmosphere that respects individual rights.

  • Performs other related duties as requested.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of three (3) years of marketing, sales, or business development experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and standard office applications.

JOB SKILLS
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual capable of driving outreach initiatives independently.

  • Proven track record in healthcare sales, lead generation, relationship management, and public relations.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with diverse professional groups.
