Job description

Execution of the maintenance program at the assigned maintenance locations with a focus on compliance with all applicable regulations, equipment availability for business needs, safety, and effective management of controllable expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation, management, staffing and regulatory compliance of the assigned areas of responsibility
  • Maintain shop policies and procedures to support the safe and efficient operation of shop facilities and parts locations.
  • Advise and collaborate on the inventory management process including vendor relationships, inventory control measures, inventory value management and non-productive inventory return/disposal.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to meet the daily needs of the primary business functions 
  • Manage to the budget for the assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative working relationship with appropriate vendors.
  • Encourage and cause to be designed skills development opportunities among all team members.
  • Foster and develop a professional and collaborative working environment internally among the maintenance team members.
  • Retains client-based rapport with multiple venders and distributions contacts.
  • Enforces all company policies and procedures are followed on all levels of the maintenance hierarchy.
  • Reviews and enforces all safety compliance standards throughout the maintenance department by ensuring OSHA requirements are satisfied and designated PPE is utilized.
  • Causes equipment to be maintained in support of CSA maintenance scores.
  • Maintain the maintenance software program as a key operator for tracking inventory.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associate's degree or higher in business or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a mechanical equipment maintenance program or equivalent. 8 years preferred.

Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

  • Expected Pay Range: $92,000.00-$106,953.40
  • Full Pay Range: $92,000.00-$153,509.00
  • Pay Grade: 13
