Regional Director of Operations

(Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care)

Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to oversee the operational performance of multiple skilled nursing facilities. This leadership role partners closely with Executive Directors to ensure regulatory compliance, financial performance, quality outcomes, and consistent operational standards across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple skilled nursing facilities

  • Support, coach, and hold Executive Directors accountable for performance

  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations

  • Drive quality assurance, survey readiness, and performance improvement

  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost-control initiatives

  • Implement operational standards, policies, and best practices

  • Serve as a key liaison with regulatory agencies and internal leadership

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Multi-facility leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, and quality metrics

  • Proven operational, financial, and leadership expertise
