Job description

Description SAIC is seeking an experienced and visionary Growth Director to drive strategic expansion for a ~$1B Army organization, targeting annual growth rates of 6-10%, supporting critical U.S. Army organizations that includes (but not limited to) including the PAE Fires, PAE Maneuver Air, PAE Maneuver Ground, PAE Layered Protection, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Army Intel, and other Army organizations. . In this critical position, you will develop and execute innovative strategies to position SAIC as a market leader. You'll collaborate across business groups, finance, contracts, marketing, technology, and the entire Growth organization to achieve ambitious objectives. Key Responsibilities * Opportunity Development and Pipeline Management : Proactively identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities that align with strategic goals and customer needs. Build and manage a robust pipeline to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets for submissions and awards. * Demand Creation and Solution Validation : Shape customer demand by influencing requirements early in the process. Continuously validate win themes and technical solutions to ensure alignment with customer priorities and decision-makers prior to solicitation. * Relationship Building and Competitive Positioning : Establish trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, facilitate strategic connections, monitor the competitive landscape, and inform capture strategies to position SAIC effectively against competitors. * Customer and Agency Engagement : Own customer and agency relationships, shape opportunity demand, and collaborate with the Market Vice President to determine which deals to pursue and why. Ensure that solutions are vetted directly with the customer. Qualifications Qualifications: Experience * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Additional experience in lieu of education may be considered.
* Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in federal contracting, capture, or Army program delivery roles - with a strong emphasis on large-scale IT environments and mission-critical solutions.
* In-depth understanding of the customer's mission, structure, procurement processes, and funding cycles.
* Expertise in federal acquisition lifecycles, contracting vehicles and agency budgeting priorities.
* Insight into industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to anticipate needs and craft differentiated strategies
* Understanding of contract types and cost structures to ensure profitable execution Skills * Customer and stakeholder engagement
