Do you enjoy bringing people together around a shared mission to create stability, hope, and lasting change for individuals and families in the Manheim community?

Why You'll Love Working with Us

  • Mission with Meaning: Help lead a Christ-centered nonprofit that is creating real stability and hope for individuals and families in the Manheim community.
  • Relational Ministry Approach: Contribute to an organization that values walking alongside people and building lasting relationships—not simply providing services.
  • Opportunity to Shape Growth: Play a key leadership role in expanding housing programs, strengthening partnerships, and guiding the future direction of MCLG.
  • Community-Centered Leadership: Mobilize churches, volunteers, donors, and local partners around a shared mission that makes a visible local impact.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Work closely with an engaged Board and mission-driven team that values collaboration, encouragement, and personal support.

About Us

Manheim Community Life Group is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization serving individuals and families facing housing insecurity in the Manheim community. Through meaningful relationships, housing support, and partnerships with local churches and community members, we work to bring hope, stability, and new life while reflecting the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways.

What You'll Do as Executive Director:

  • Lead MCLG's strategic vision, growth initiatives, and long-term organizational planning in partnership with the Board of Directors.
  • Build relationships with churches, donors, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen local support and engagement.
  • Oversee daily operations, staff leadership, budgeting, and financial stewardship to support organizational health and sustainability.
  • Lead fundraising efforts through donor development, stewardship, outreach, and fundraising campaigns.
  • Represent MCLG through local speaking engagements, church partnerships, networking opportunities, and occasional evening and weekend events within the surrounding community.
  • Recruit, develop, & support staff while fostering a collaborative, Christ-centered culture.
  • Identify opportunities to expand housing programs and services that meet evolving community needs.

Our Ideal Executive Director:

  • Experienced Organizational Leader: 7+ years of leadership, staff development, budgeting, and relationship-building experience required; fundraising experience preferred.
  • Faith-Driven Leader: Demonstrates strong alignment with the Christian mission and values of Manheim Community Life Group.
  • Relational Communicator: Builds trust with donors, churches, community partners, staff, and volunteers through strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Strategic & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Thinks proactively about organizational growth, fundraising, community impact, and new opportunities to expand the ministry's reach.
  • Community-Focused Servant Leader: Leads with humility, collaboration, stewardship, and a heart for serving individuals and families in need.

What We Offer Our Executive Director:

  • $75,000-$90,000 salary, DOE
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Cell phone, laptop, and travel reimbursement provided
  • Staff support resources, including access to counseling support
  • Join a relationship-focused ministry that values walking alongside people, building meaningful community connections, and creating lasting impact through Christ-centered service

Executive Directors, nonprofit leaders, ministry leaders, community engagement professionals, and faith-based organizational leaders seeking a relationship-driven, Christ-centered leadership opportunity are encouraged to explore this opportunity with Manheim Community Life Group.
