Serve as the senior escalation point for complex connectivity incidents spanning datacenter edge, office networks, wireless, WAN, firewalls, and public/private cloud integration.

Design and optimize enterprise connectivity patterns for edge networking, office connectivity, hybrid cloud integration, and secure interconnection between environments.

Lead major network changes, migrations, upgrades, failover testing, and lifecycle refreshes.

Define and improve technical standards for routing, switching, firewall governance, wireless design, segmentation, resiliency, and cloud connectivity.

Partner with cybersecurity, cloud, platform, and support teams to ensure connectivity services align with security and governance requirements.

Review and improve firewall policy structures, segmentation approaches, connectivity guardrails, and operational controls.

Drive root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for recurring or high-severity issues.

Mentor Connectivity Engineer I and II staff and provide technical leadership across the team.

Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and service models for operational fit and strategic value.

Contribute to roadmaps for network modernization, automation, and service reliability improvement.

Schedule & Presence:  This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration, standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday.  Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing or supporting network connectivity across private cloud and public cloud platforms.

Experience with Azure networking, AWS networking, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, or cloud transit architectures.

Experience with network segmentation, zero trust principles, NAC, or policy governance.

Experience with automation or scripting for network operations.

Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE 7/8, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering, hybrid connectivity, or infrastructure engineering.

Advanced experience with enterprise routing, switching, WAN, firewall administration, and wireless technologies.

Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site or large-scale enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking, network security principles, and operational governance.

Proven ability to lead complex technical troubleshooting and technical initiatives with limited oversight.

Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
