This role reports directly to Network Operations leadership.
Your Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee the operation of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless infrastructure, and cloud networking services
- Lead the response to complex network incidents, including root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Reduce operational risk by improving testing practices, recovery planning, and standardization of connectivity models
- Monitor network performance, utilization, and capacity; sponsor optimization initiatives such as traffic engineering and QoS
Cloud, Automation & Modernization
- Lead execution of the cloud and hybrid network strategy, including hybrid connectivity, cloud networking patterns, and cost-optimization initiatives
- Drive adoption of network automation and Infrastructure as Code, leveraging tools such as Ansible, Python, and SDN technologies

- Own network-related governance, risk, and compliance responsibilities
- Standardize network documentation, controls, and audit evidence
- Track audit findings, remediation actions, and control effectiveness through structured governance forums
- Partner with security, risk, and audit teams to ensure ongoing regulatory readiness

- Set priorities, performance goals, and accountability across the organization
- Lead network-related programs and initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and technology refreshes
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure delivery on schedule and within constraints
- Evaluate network vendors, support contract negotiations, and manage strategic vendor relationships
- Ensure high-quality network documentation, diagrams, procedures, and knowledge sharing
- Communicate network risks, initiatives, and incidents effectively to senior leadership, including executive-ready presentations (PowerPoint, Visio)
Qualifications
