Job description

The Behavioral Health Clinic Director is responsible for the administrative, operational, and supervisory management of behavioral health clinic services. This role provides leadership to staff, exercises independent judgment in decision-making, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. The Director collaborates with community organizations, referral partners, and stakeholders to strengthen service delivery, improve client outcomes, and support the mission of the organization.

You willget to:
  • Directly supervise staff working in the clinic, including therapists, nurses, care coordinators, business manager, and support staff
  • Provide supervision to the Crisis Team Lead
  • Foster an environment that supports person-centered recovery practices and trauma-informed care.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, team management, and development.
  • Model workplace behaviors and principles.
Letyou’lldefinitely need:
  • Bachelor's degree in HumanServices with the ability to credential as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-CS).
  • Five years' experience working inthe mental health field or a social service field, which includes deliveryof services to individuals with behavioral health disorders
  • Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance.
  • To complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment
Preferred:
  • Three years of management experience,overseeing staff with strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Demonstrated experience in budget development, financial management, and expenditure tracking, with the ability to provide operational guidance and support to clinic leadership and staff.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT,LCSW or LPC
