Job description

  • Own the design of globally‑lead payer and pricing research.
  • Act as senior subject‑matter expert and internal consultancy resource to other members of the access community and internal stakeholders for all pricing research conducted across Insulet, affordability‑driven pricing and access programs, and any topics requiring direct pricing‑related input into enterprise/segment‑level cross‑functional projects or business processes.
  • Collaboratively co‑drive the development/update of global pricing and access principles applicable to Insulet assets and solutions across all markets.
  • Own the development of value‑based and sustainable global pricing and contracting strategies for all Insulet assets, in partnership with the global HEMA segment leaders, regional and key market access leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Explore innovative funding, contracting and pricing arrangements to capture the full value of Insulet assets at launch and over the life cycle.
  • Drive and oversee the implementation of updates to the Insulet global pricing governance and related processes/resources.
  • Drive the development of decision‑support tools and processes (e.g. global pricing database, pricing business case review templates) by harnessing best practices and building on existing processes and tools where possible and warranted.
  • Coordinate and drive the design, development and conduct of pricing analytics (incl. pricing scenario modeling) & pricing performance tracking (e.g. dashboards) across global markets for all in‑market Insulet solutions.
  • Lead/coach the team members involved in the preparation and review of submissions (including pricing business cases and regular pricing corridor reviews) to the Global Pricing Council and prepare/manage Global Pricing Council meetings as Secretary.
  • Be the Secretary of the Global Pricing Council and own the preparation, agenda and content discussed at this Council.
  • Lead, coach, and grow the global pricing team and drive the pricing acumen across the Insulet access community and the overall enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial/business or related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of hands‑on experience in a pricing and/or financial‑focused role in the pharma/biotech/medtech industry or consultancy (with at least 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical pricing).
  • Proven track record in designing qualitative and quantitative pricing research and sound knowledge of the related techniques (e.g., conjoint, payer insights, price corridor validation).
  • Prior leadership experience in strategic and operational pricing of pharmaceutical/medical technology products.
  • Familiarity with pricing systems, price master data, and advanced analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis; knowledge of financial modeling/forecasting is highly recommended.
  • Excellent project management skills.
