DIRECTOR SAFETY
We're looking for a Director of Safety to join our team in Longmont, CO. The Director of Safety leads the development and execution of safety culture, operational excellence, and business strategy across a defined region or project scope. This leadership role combines safety oversight with team development, client relationship management, and long-term growth initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Lead growth strategy, business development, and profit achievement within an assigned territory or project
  • Develop and champion a strong safety culture through modeling, training, and corrective action
  • Collaborate with management to identify hazards, minimize risk, and reinforce safety as a core value
  • Build and maintain relationships with labor representatives and executive leadership
  • Operate the business in alignment with company values and strategic vision
  • Cultivate a high-performing team culture and mentor staff for professional growth
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support operational and strategic goals
  • All other duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-7 years of relevant field safety experience
  • Bachelors' degree is preferred, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • The physical activity required for this role includes:
    • Frequent travel as needed for site visits and client meetings
    • Frequent site visits in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
    • Walking on uneven and variable terrain for long periods
    • Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
    • Standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching
    • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
    • Good vision and hearing, corrected or otherwise
    • Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
