Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Data Modeler with strong banking experience and mandatory expertise in credit modeling to support enterprise data initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between the data program, Lending and Credit business teams, and the Enterprise Data Modeling team to ensure the successful delivery of data modeling solutions. This is a non-development role focused on data modeling, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery management.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary liaison between the data program, Lending and Credit division, and the Enterprise Data Modeling team.
• Lead and coordinate data modeling initiatives supporting banking and credit-related business functions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and align data modeling requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Ensure data models align with enterprise data standards, governance, and business objectives.
• Support delivery planning, coordination, and execution of data modeling initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data modeling deliverables.
• Utilize Power BI and Databricks to support data analysis and model validation activities.
• Provide guidance on data modeling best practices and enterprise standards.
• Facilitate communication between business, data, and enterprise architecture teams.
Required Qualifications
• Experience as a Data Modeler with delivery management responsibilities.
• Strong banking domain experience.
• Mandatory experience with credit modeling.
• Experience collaborating with Lending and Credit business teams.
• Experience working with Enterprise Data Modeling teams.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience using enterprise data modeling tools and software.
• Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting enterprise data programs within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise data governance and data architecture environments.
