Job description

  • Develop category sourcing strategies through market, industry, and supply base analysis
  • Conduct supplier segmentation, sourcing activities, bid analysis, negotiations, contracting, and implementation
  • Support process improvements, volume concentration, price and cost optimization, and global sourcing initiatives
  • Participate in sourcing and category management discussions and provide category and industry expertise
  • Execute supply base design strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Set and achieve individual goals
  • Support and execute procurement and business unit strategies
  • Develop and communicate category plans based on supply, industry, and business changes
  • Ensure risk management, capacity planning, and contingency plans
  • Participate in productivity, cash flow, and innovation projects
  • Oversee supplier compliance programs, including Quality & Service, Food Safety, and Food Defense
  • Source and qualify potential suppliers and products
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, purchase orders, KPIs, scorecards, issue resolution, and business reviews
  • Conduct supplier meetings and provide sourcing strategy recommendations
  • Prepare budgets, market forecasts, and financial plans
  • Create and manage cost models for key suppliers

Requirements
