Fire Protection Sales Representative

We provide comprehensive services, including design, installation, repair, inspection, and maintenance, for commercial fire protection systems. With the ever-changing codes and regulations, we assist you in ensuring that your building complies with the latest standards. Whether it's a mid-rise commercial or high-rise commercial building, we provide regularly scheduled fire protection inspections and maintenance to maintain the optimal functionality of your system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm and/or Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in service sales, with some expertise in either fire alarm, fire sprinkler, or both would be ideal. A strong background in estimating, prospecting, and closing deals is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with Technician and Administrative teams to generate leads for services and products.
  • Maintains and increases sales volume and meets and exceeds assigned sales objectives.
  • Identifies new business opportunities, generates leads, closes new business opportunities and converts accounts from competition.
  • Works with Technicians to train on key compliance opportunities and assists with lead generation for new and residual business.
  • Partners with current customers and recommends additional services that will assist in managing their compliance and business continuity.
  • Targets new and existing accounts to stimulate new opportunities through telephone selling, including following up on leads from internal sources.
  • Creates business through warm calls by connecting existing customers with expanded services or products.
  • Targets strategic accounts to drive incremental growth opportunities.
  • Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service call logs and internal service records effectively uses CRM to drive customer penetration and opportunity identification.
  • Utilizes data and analytics to identify opportunities.
  • Attends Trade Shows and Strategic Customer meetings as directed.
  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems.
  • Collaborate with all departments as internal customers, prioritizing tasks as needed for efficiency and compliance.
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education

  • 5+ years preferred documented outside/inside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment.
  • Fire Protection industry experience preferred.
  • Experience selling portable fire extinguishers.
  • Documented track record for meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
