  • Configure and support system automation tools, console automation, and workload schedulers (e.g., IBM TWS, CA-7).
  • Administer and troubleshoot mainframe storage systems, catalogs, DFSMS, and tape management tools.
  • Conduct system performance monitoring and tuning using tools like RMF, SMF, OMEGAMON, MainView, etc.
  • Manage mainframe security infrastructure (primarily RACF), implement policies, and assist with audits/compliance.
  • Provide technical support for mainframe hardware and software-related incidents; work with IBM and vendors for resolution.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Document systems configurations and changes in accordance with ITIL/Change Management processes.

  • Experience with mainframe automation, monitoring, and scheduling tools.
  • Proficient with RACF administration and overall mainframe security concepts.
  • Skilled in REXX, CLISTs, and scripting for system automation.
  • Familiarity with change management, problem management, and system documentation.
