Schwieters Companies hiring a full-time Prefinish Shortline Machine Operator to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare all material before loading onto prefinish machine
  • Load/unload material properly onto/off the prefinish machine
  • Accountable for the product and assembly you are working on
  • Pick material using a stand/sit forklift
  • Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
  • Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
  • Inspect all material for quality
  • Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
  • Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous machine operating experience (prefinish/millwork experience a plus)
  • Comfortable learning to operate and use a forklift (previous forklift experience preferred)
  • Candidate must have a good work history
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
  • Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time
  • Flexible in working overtime when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed (1st shift)

PAY
  • $22-$23/hr. (1st shift)
