Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Novelis Global Learning & Development Center of Expertise is seeking a Learning & Development Lead to design, manage, and execute scalable learning solutions across Novelis. Reporting to the Director, Learning & Development, this role partners with COE peers, HRBPs, regional learning partners, vendors, and business stakeholders to support the global learning portfolio. 

The ideal candidate brings strong learning consulting, facilitation, and program execution skills, with the ability to translate business priorities into learning experiences that are globally consistent, locally relevant, and easy to deploy. 

Responsibilities 

Global Learning Design & Portfolio Support 

  • Design, curate, and improve blended learning solutions, including virtual, in-person, digital, cohort-based, experiential, and manager-enabled experiences. 
  • Translate enterprise strategy and capability needs into practical learning plans, assets, and deployment resources. 
  • Create or manage facilitator guides, participant materials, communications, and enablement tools. 
  • Ensure solutions meet global standards while allowing appropriate regional, functional, and audience-specific adaptation. 

Vendor & External Partner Management 

  • Manage external learning vendors, facilitators, business schools, and content providers for assigned initiatives. 
  • Support vendor scoping, contracting inputs, quality expectations, communication rhythms, feedback, and improvements. 
  • Monitor vendor quality, value, learner feedback, and fit against Novelis standards and business needs. 

Corporate Learning Calendar Execution 

  • Support planning and execution of the corporate learning calendar for global and Atlanta-based learning events. 
  • Leverage learning admin support services to coordinate logistics, scheduling, facilitator readiness, learner communications, enrollment, calendar updates, and follow-up  
  • Facilitate in-house learning programs with confidence, credibility, and strong learner engagement. 
  • Partner with HRBPs, regional stakeholders, communications, shared services, and vendors to launch and manage offerings effectively. 

Learning Consulting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement 

  • Assess learning needs using stakeholder input, data, and business priorities. 
  • Diagnose needs, clarify success measures, and recommend appropriate learning or non-learning solutions. 
  • Monitor participation, completion, learner feedback, program effectiveness, and other learning insights. 
  • Use data and feedback to improve design, delivery, communications, vendor performance, and learning culture efforts. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in learning, talent development, instructional design, or related HR capability-building work. 
  • Experience designing and deploying leadership, professional, functional, or enterprise learning programs in a complex organization. 
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience delivering instructor-led training programs, including programs designed in house. 
  • Demonstrated vendor, facilitator, or external partner management experience. 
  • Strong stakeholder consulting skills with HR, business leaders, regional teams, and external providers. 
  • Practical project and program management skills in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience with learning technologies, LMS platforms, digital content platforms, and learning data. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear learning materials and executive-ready summaries. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in a relevant field. 
  • Experience in a Learning COE, HR COE, or global HR operating model. 
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, operational, or globally distributed environments. 
  • Relevant certification in instructional design, learning experience design, adult learning, facilitation, or project management. 
  • Certification to deliver Korn Ferry, DDI, or other recognized vendor learning solutions.
